A young mother saved the life of a 2-year-old girl who fell from the 10th floor of a building in Hangzhou.

While her grandmother went to get some quilts she was drying on the roof, the girl crawled on to the windowsill of the bedroom where her grandmother had left her sleeping. A downstairs neighbor saw the girl and tried to reach her using a ladder, but the attempt failed and the girl finally fell.

Wu Juping, 31, who lived in the same neighborhood, ran to the building when she heard someone cry out in alarm and managed to catch the girl before she hit the ground.

This incredible story answers one of my questions in life – is it possible to save someone falling off a building and survive?.

It seems it is possible after all, that is, if it’s only 10 floors and you’re catching a little girl.

Unfortunately, both parties still suffered major injuries from the impact. The woman, suffered a comminuted fracture in her left arm and will have to undergo surgery. Her recovery is expected to take six months. The girl, on the other hand, seems very lucky to be alive. Her brain, lungs, gastrointestinal tract were all injured because of the height she fell from. She also has difficulties in urination.

Taiwan robbers seem to be seriously weak; at least Apple animated news make it look that way.

Two armed robbers robbing a jewelry shop are met with fierce resistance from two siblings. In this fight for survival, the siblings win over the bad guys. In the end, one of the robbers is shot in the thigh and the other dies from a heart attack.

The reason why I call these robbers weak is that the manner in which the robbery was conducted was just way too amateurish (and dumb). The robbers came with the intent to kill the storekeeper (the sister) but the gun jammed on the first shot and the second shot did not kill her. On the third attempt, the brother (who they did not notice) came to his sister’s rescue. The sister also joined in the fight despite being shot.

While the siblings were definitely very brave and tough, the robbers really could have succeeded without much stress. The brother wouldn’t have attacked if he didn’t see his sister in danger.

There really was no reason to kill innocent people in this robbery, and the robbers paid the price.

In China, property prices have risen dramatically. If you’re the working class, it is becoming increasingly difficult to afford a property especially in the capital – Beijing.

A hotel in China was built in just six days! This is the Arc Hotel located in Changsha.

The 15-story sustainable hotel already had its foundation prepared. By using prefabricated columns and modules as well as modern construction techniques, construction workers took just 46 hours to finish the main structural components and another 90 hours to finish the building enclosure. While the workers didn’t work all through the night, they did work until 10pm each night.

Here are some details about the hotel:

This is actually pretty old news, but I thought it was worth highlighting just for the video alone.

A Hong Kong girl is caught in the following video snorting the longest ketamine line ever. Apparently there was a K snorting contest in a club across the border in Mainland China.

This girl participated and well…watch the video:

Having watched the video, I think this is just insane. I think it’s crazy to snort anything that long.

The girl won the contest and became the “Queen of K”.

These were her last moments caught on video…

Traffic accidents happen all the time in China. This maybe due to the lack of training or manners.

The person driving the motorcycle in this video is either very used to crashing into cars or is trained in some super kung fu.

Watch the following clip. See how he gets flung away but controls his body mid-air to create the perfect landing. Then he just walks…

Meet Liu Wei, the winner of China’s Got Talent.

I have long predicted that he would win; not just because of his talent, but due to his impressive background and character. Liu Wei lost both his arms when he was ten years old. Instead of giving up, he decided that he must live gloriously. As his most famous quote goes: “either live an exciting life or die quickly.”

Liu Wei has become a great motivational figure as well as a role model for the younger generation.

There’s a reason why China’s called the “World’s factory”. Not only is there a large and cheap workforce but the speed at which these factory workers produce can be pretty spectacular.

Example below: look at the speed in which these workers pack a deck of cards. You don’t even need to buy a machine with these workers!
